Description
This Highland single malt was matured for five years in first-fill Bourbon casks, followed by a year-long finish in Madeira hogsheads. AD/10.22 was a release of 5,781 bottles worldwide and is without added colour or chill filtration and bottled a at cask strength of 58.2% ABV

About Ardnamurchan distillery
Ardnamurchan distillery was built and is owned by Adelphi, an independent bottling company and is considered one of the remotest distilleries in Scotland.

With a keen eye on sustainability, the distillery is powered by renewable energy to reduce their carbon footprint via hydro-electric power and a large bio-mass boiler using timber from the nearby Ardnamurchan forest. The boiler provides heat to the distillery floor maltings and the distillery and the whisky is created using water from springs above the distillery drawing from the Glenmore River.
